Omar condoles demise of Fareed Parbati

JAMMU, Dec 15: Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah has condoled the demise of noted Urdu poet and Associate Professor of Iqbal Institute in Kashmir University, Dr. Fareed Parbati who passed away last night.

In a condolence message, the Chief Minister highlighted the contribution of late Parbati in Urdu literature and said that his popularity as an Urdu poet was significant. “In his demise the State has lost a scholarly person”, he added.

The Chief Minister conveyed sympathy to the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul.
